Calling all Boston alumni!
Friends of Freiburg is excited to re-start our alumni initiative in the Boston area. Our first event will be a Stammtisch and concert in the park on Saturday, August 3. Come meet and mingle with your fellow alumni and friends at the Night Shift Esplanade Beer Garden, starting at 5:00pm. Then, we will attend the Landmarks Orchestra’s free performance of works from Brahms and Dvořák, beginning at 7:00pm.
Local alumna Alexandra Magold, (who graduated with a Diplommolekularmedizinerin / MSc in in Molecular Medicine in 2007) is spearheading the initiative for a Boston chapter. Friends of Freiburg University president Jeffrey Himmel will also attend and share some general updates from his recent visit to the university. Both are looking forward to connecting with fellow alumni, meeting old friends, and meeting new ones! We hope to see you there.
Bring a blanket and picnic gear. In case of rain, an alternative indoor plan will be communicated in advance to those who register.
